Hey I didn''t get a response! (Got their email from the website). Hmm..ok I''ll give them a call.
Thanks again, you are such a godsend!![]()

S - I talked to Mary and she said she''s going to do some research and get back to me. Thanks so much! You already gave her the info that she needed so it was easy peasy!
Thanks again!![]()
Good morning to you! I love them both as well but like I said..I think the Simon G gives me a little more umphh. He DID see it in person! That''s what I don''t get. He even kept saying in Robbins bros..wow that''s a beautiful ring...I just hope its the same one! Damn Robbins wouldn''t let me take a picture!Date: 1/23/2008 11:46:13 AM

Good morning, Miss Paula! Nope. Not at all. I think that both of your setting choices are gorgeous! I LOVE them! I do not think either of them are old fashioned at all. I do have to say though, and I would put money on it, that if/when your boyfriend sees the setting in person, he may change his mind and tell him I told you that. The pics just never do his settings justice. They are far more impressive in real life.![]()
On that note, I''m sure you haven''t forgotten but I just wanted to remind you to call the jeweler you are on going to see on Saturday and ask her if she can get Simon G to send you that setting so you can see it, in person.
That''s too funny about your dog. What kind is he?
Glad you like Mary ... She''ll come through for you regardless of whether or not you go with them for the center, however, if they are able to get you the best price on the setting and you are able to decide on what it is that you want for a centre stone, it might be nice to get it all done at the same place.
You get your pendant today, huh? Good stuff! I hope you have your camera ready so that as soon as you get it you can start whipping off pics for us, lady! You know we aren''t very patient.
If it gives you that little more "umph" then THAT is the one. I know exactly what you mean b/c there were several settings I liked but MY setting is the one that made me tear up when I saw it. Too bad you couldn''t get the style# from RB. That would have made this process a lot quicker and easier for you.Date: 1/23/2008 12:01:49 PM

I called the jeweler this morning..she''s not in yet...so I left a message. We''ll see. I have a feeling she''s going to say no, otherwise why wouldn''t she have brought that up as an option to begin with? No harm in asking!
She is half black lab half German Shep..and she''s CRAZY! But she''s my baby and I love her!![]()
I agree, getting everything done at the same place..TAX FREE..would be great!![]()
I''ll be sure to post pics as soon as I get it! Thanks again and have yourself a glorious day.![]()
I am in such a bad mood cuz I am so sick of this weather....guess I''ll survive. Where are your whereabouts?
A big BOO to her! Anyways, moving on ... Check with the other Simon G vendors in your area ... Just give them a call and see if they are willing to do it for you ... after all you KNOW it''s possible.Date: 1/23/2008 2:59:03 PM

S - I just spoke with her and she said no.She told me Simon G does not give rings on memo..whatever that means. I''m also not excited about the diamonds she is selecting...I''s and some EGL''s..I told her GIA and AGS only and G-H range. Here we go..another horrible experience. I can find some very nice ones online for our price range..very frustrating! Anyhoo, at least I''ll go try on and see! She was able to give me the Simon G style/stock number: MR1501. She said I should be able to go onto their website and find it. I will do that now!![]()
I know there is pics of my crazy doggie on PS somewhere..here''s another one though!
I got my pendant and I LOVE IT! I''ll post pics once I get home...don''t have the cable with me!![]()
Ohh you are right..I can''t complain to you about the weather! Sorry! Ok stay for pendant pics later on today!
Woohoo! Poor lady ... I can just see her diggin in the trenches to get diamonds for you. Good for you though! What kind of thing is that?? Crazy! Get me G - H stones, lady!! Hopefully she''ll get the picture for Saturday and will have a ton of stuff to make you happy!Date: 1/23/2008 3:39:46 PM

I do suck, I know! I''m such a tease!![]()
Seriously, this chick is already annoying me. Its not like our budget is $2.00! Great, out come the K stones again! I told her on the phone, no so she can go back and re-pull! Boo for Saturday!
Doggies name is Sierra.![]()
Great idea, I just talked to Mary and let her know. She is SUPER NICE and full of energy..LOVE IT!
That looks right to me ... Quite a price diff ... Boo. $3 - 400 bucks is still quite a bit but not so outrageous that the bf would completely ignore it, right?Date: 1/23/2008 4:46:58 PM

I also thought about that. Geez, brillant minds think a like! The other setting is $1820 so plus the usual 8.75% sales tax it would be: $1979.25. That sound right, right? I AM HORRIBLE at math but the calculator should have done it right! So, what are we talking $300 savings? It''s not that much more...
Yeah, maybe a little more for the stone. But yes, I could go down in size..She brought up an excellent point, Simon G uses G or higher colored diamonds in their settings so for my center stone I should stick to a G or above..great point Mary. I told her I''d call her back once I decide which shape I want and she can do more digging around...
Hey you never know! I''m hoping you get it for v-day! I might not get the Simon G so all my hopes rest on your Simon G!![]()
Hiya! I just had to share something with you. I thought it was pretty funny ... I''ll address your post about the above in a sec just wanted to catch you online ...
Remember how I said I wanted a pendant ... I found this "Simon G" one online and have save the pic to see if I can order it some time in the future. Apart from the yellow gold and a few other small things, it looks remarkably similar to yours! I thought it was such a coincidence!
Here''s a pic. What do you think? Crazy, huh?
Okay .. Now down to business ...Date: 1/23/2008 11:31:36 PM

The bf is sold on the non-simon g. For some reason he likes it so much better. My plan is to get hand shots of me with the Simon G because I think he will think differently..great point you make though! Do I dare visit a different Robbins Bros to see the setting again? God, I don''t know if I have the strength or patience....![]()
The diamonds you posted are good parameters when I start the search. Thanks again for all your help. Don''t go far, you''ll be needed!![]()
