This pretty has been in my folder for a while and I'm thinking of doing something similar and given the recent brouhaha don't want to hurt feelings. Plus if its a vendor we know I would use them.

A citrine cut very simarly to the picture. Im going with yellow gold because I think the two look good togeter My jeweler is drawing up some designs . I will keep you updated.

Controversy over whether it is okay to have ring designs we see here reproduced. There are very few truly original rings, so most are okay, in my opinion. Truly original designs should only be made by the original designer, again, in my opinion. And copyrighted designs should be respected, too. You can use those for inspiration but have the item made with changes to the design.

I can get that, but I also understand that in order to get an exact copy made, its gonna have to be by the original designer. no one is going to be able to recreate a ring based off a couple photos.

This is why I'm surprised folks show their custom bling online. If you are trying to get a unique look, it seems self-defeating.
