Just read about this, Sotheby''s is auditioning off a 72.22 D-color, flawless pear shape (apparently GIA-graded excellent polish and symmetry). It''s supposed to fetch $13 million. Me, not so interested, I prefer getting RBs for my honey.

Holly molly! Look at the size of that rock! That would make a nice wrist ring...

Here is another monster of a rock: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/world/2008/03/06/vo.hkong.big.diamond.cnn

Wow... that''s delicious! What an amaaaaaazing rock!

Yes, I''ll take it. (Just the small matter of $13million or so to find).

I wonder if I can get a matching stone so I can wear them as earrings... ;)

It''s a bit large for me but I hope that it makes some millionaire very happy as an addition to their collection. I do wonder how the new owner will display or set it.

That''s beautiful. I like it better than that strangely cut one posted last week.

It would!

Even so, if it was mine I think I would still seriously consider wearing it as a ring!! :D

Not so much ''finger coverage'' as HAND coverage!!

Yum!!

I think I could pull that look off...

im pretty sure if someone gave me that rock as a gift that i would have a hard time paying the annual insurance for it!

Finally, a stone for my naval ring.
