Anyone heard of Protea Diamonds in VA?

The bit I know is pulled from Washingtonian Magazine:

"Protea Diamonds, 2499 N. Harrison St., Arlington; 703-536-9822; www.proteadiamonds.com. A former wholesaler, this no-frills jeweler now offers its good deals to the public. By appointment only."

I delt with them briefly early on in my search, and found them to be very nice and sincere. Just didn't work out with them because they couldn't get a hold of a diamond with the characteristics I wanted.

Protea Diamonds are a highly reputable company that originated in South Africa. They ran a large cutting factory in Johannesburg then as far as I know expanded to Australia and USA
