Just wanted to know if anyone who''s ever gotten a pave setting from ERD had problems with the stones falling out, and if they did what was their policy regarding that? Did people have to send it back to get the stones replaced? I love the Sophia setting they have, but I don''t know if it would be a pain in the butt if pave stones kept falling out and I had to send it to NY all the time to get it fixed.

i don''t own and ERD setting and hopefully some owners will chime in for you. A well made pave setting shouldn''t be losing stones all the time. you can contact them directly for their warranty info and replacing lost stones policy. Most of the time a well skilled local jeweler can replace a lost pave stone and they are inexpensive, maybe $20 or so, possibly not worth the trouble of cost of shipping, but you''d have to again check the warranty with ERD. there a quite a few ERD custom setting pave owners on here and i don''t think i''ve heard many stories of them losing stones so my guess is the settings are holding up pretty well. the wearer will also need to be careful though and not bang the ring around or else she''s pretty much guaranteed to knock out a stone.

Thanks Mrs S for the response. Yea, I''m pretty sure the quality of their work is top-notch. I''d just hate the thought of having to ship the ring in every time a pave stone possibly came out. But it''s true, the savings from the diamond alone compared to paying $20 every time I need to get a stone replaced is definitely worth it
