Has anyone had their stone reset in the same setting to have the ring come back with bent or warped looking prongs? Is this common? I''m going to call the jeweler tom. and need to have valid info before telling them my ring shouldn''t look like that and they should fix it to how it was before they worked on it. I''m so sad, I loved it before and now I want to cry. They said they would polish the prongs and re-plate them but I swear that the prongs were not even and not a perfect U. My setting looks like this. I''ll post a pic of a before pic. Please help!!

diamond is set slightly crooked it looks like too me.
The culet should be centered over the the center of the middle diamond.

Ok, try not to panic, I know it is hard! Calmly go to your jeweller and explain what you don't like and what you want to see as clearly as possible and give them a chance to fix it, which they should be able to. If you get any difficulty stick to your guns, but hopefully this is unlikely as they will want to make you happy and keep your business. This is not a new issue, we have had other posters with this problem in the past and it was sorted out. Did the jeweller actually set the diamond in the first place?

Yes, they set the stone. I know...I need to stop worrying and just wait to see how it turns out. I just am so worried that it will come back looking yucky!! Thanks for your reply!
