I see there is an option on Vatche e-rings for ''18kt VG with platinum head''. any pics, experience would be greatly appreciated.

Look in the SMTR folder......lots of Vatche.
 
i have, there is no way to tell if the ring has that particular option, hence why i am asking for personal experience.
