Hello All,
My quest for the perfect solitaire setting for my OEC continues...
I am leaning towards this setting
However, last night while trolling pricescope I came across this lovely LM belonging to jgny (I hope she doesn't mind me using her photos)
While they are similar in design, I do like the double claw prongs on the LM, and the pave is his signature "Megesaurus" upside down french cuts. I am intrigued, and think it looks lovely and very unique. My question is, has anyone had real life experience with this? Would I be more likely to damage the stones, or scratch things, as the bottom of the diamonds stick up like little spikes? Also, is it more difficult to clean/keep clean than the bright cut pave which is what is used on the other setting? Any additional observations or advice would be much appreciated. If I did go with the Leon Mege, I would probably have the band be a little wider (1.8mm at least), and would leave the very bottom of the ring without pave.
Just for fun, I'd love to know which design you prefer?
Thank you so much for your help!
