Ok, I''ll play. My favorite would have to be my yellow diamond. Does that count?

I''ve been lurking for some time and finally decided to join the forum. Guess I''ve got to start somewhere, so here goes post #1. Left to right: emerald, amethyst, topaz. The topaz is from H. Stern, circa 1950s or 1960s, and was passed down to me by my mother. I found the amethyst in an antique store almost 20 years ago; the picture doesn''t do a great job of showing the red and blue flashes. Hubby chose the emerald and setting about 15 years ago, as my e-ring. The stone''s best described IRL as ''Sprite bottle green.'' Let''s hope that photo posted; if not, how does one insert it after uploading it via attaching the file?

You must be thinking of someone else. My interactions with Andrew Sarosi were more along the lines of "Hey, this ring of yours with an oval stone in it, can you make another just like only using my square stone? You can? Awesome. Go to it."Date: 3/26/2010 5:24:28 PM

Kismet...I love your demantoid and the ring. As to the rubellite ring...I remember how compulsive you were about the setting, and it came out lovely!
The eternity ring is very nice, too.
Oh...There was more in your thread. How you met him at Tucson (?) gem show, how you l ike that ring, so many photographs of your ring...I am sorry. I just got a wrong impression. The pics were so good, though. I was trying to find that thread yesterday night but my head refused to cooperate. I''ll try today, I remember the ring and the stone, both are awesome.Date: 3/27/2010 6:43:05 AM
