Anyone else following the news on the ICE fake Farmington University?

This majorly ticks me off and imho everyone who was a victim of this government scam should be granted a green card.

Ugh, that is awful. Sadly I am still surprised by the actions of governments and people.
I guess deep down I always want to believe the best about people but usually I am disappointed.

Thank you to those that replied, I had hoped in a small way to bring this to people's attention.
I keep coming back to reply then delete it because it is a total rant.
Since I can't help ranting here goes.....
Rant on:

This is just not right that people try and do the right thing only to get tricked by the government and then rounded up.
While at the same time corporations are breaking the rules and firing Americans to hire h1b immigrants cheaper totally against the letter and intent of the law and getting by with it.


Anything dealing with the ins/ice is a total mess and has been for years.

We need in my opinion secure borders(that includes walls) and a functional, fair and transparent immigration system that actually works.
Immigrants are good for the USA but it has to be done right, legal, quickly and fair.
The current system is none of those things.

This sickens me. These people were trying their best to do the right thing, the best way they knew how. They WANT to be LEGAL US citizens. IMO, they should be praised for their efforts. I also believe their citizenship process should be expedited as quickly as possible.
