I'm trolling eBay to see if I can find something for an upcoming anniversary, and while I'm not having any luck for myself, maybe this will suit one of you? It's the cutest bezel-set old cut on a thin platinum band. Utterly charming, and for less than a grand! http://cgi.ebay.com/Antique-Platinu...ed-Ring-/230512444752?pt=Vintage_Fine_Jewelry

I figure maybe karma will pay me back by having one of you post the most perfect OEC bezel studs imaginable for me .... :rodent:

That's lovely! What a nice thing to do. If I had control over diamond karma I'd totally send some your way. :wink2:

Ohhh! I love that ring! It's beautiful! I'm sending karma your way anyways, but I have to be honest with you about the OEC bezel earrings....I have my eye out on ebay too for those! But I'm looking for about 1ctw, and it's not in the budget really right now...so if you get them first I'll live though you! But if I didn't already have a ring I would totally send that to my boyfriend! It's a great size and so beautiful!

What a lovely piece! I think i'm out of new diamonds for this year... ;(

I have to wait until at LEAST Christmas. :wink2:

I saw these OEC studs and thought of you ladies, though if I could afford them I'd probably buy them for myself

They're $1100 **edited by moderator. Please respect the PS policies**.

They're $1100 on the jewelry selling site that can't be named here that starts with the stone we all love and ends in a type of french restaurant starting with a B.

LMAO! It's funny you pointed these out because I'm in the process of buying them! On the site that's not to be named will be a smaller pair of OEC earrings listed to help fund these new earrings! And a sapphire and diamond band lol. But parting with these things will SO be worth it after I bezel and milgrain these babies!

The early bird gets the worm! Those look gorgeous - Callisto, thanks for posting, and RedRose, those will be beautiful! I guess I'll have to hold out for Lurchie's karma after all. :rodent:

I'm SUPER excited about them. My first pair were bought off that site about a year and a half ago and they have been well loved. I have been waiting for the right pair of OEC's for a while, and they are actually a combined birthday gift/graduation gift from my dad but we agreed that I have to sell my other pair of diamond earrings, a pair of blue topaz earrings and a sapphire and diamond eternity band to help fund them. I know it seems like I have to sell a lot to get this, but the ring is to big for me (fits on my thumb), the topaz earrings are to heavy for my ears and I won't need 2 pairs of diamond studs. I'm hoping all together to get about 600.00 or so to help fund the earrings and the reset will have to wait for at least until next Christmas or maybe a graduation gift from my boyfriend.

All in all it's SO worth it. There are a few staple pieces that I want in my collection and these earrings (besides my ering) is the first staple piece to go in besides my sapphires by the yard necklace that I own. I'm selling my earrings at a good price point for karma purposes so someone else can enjoy a nice size first set of studs too! I won't be posting pics until the end of Nov. because I have to wait until my dad visits to get them!

I hope you find what your looking for! Keep an eye out on ebay, I see great deals (that I can't afford) all the time there :naughty:

Ooo maybe I'll keep an eye out for the smaller oec studs... I need some starter studs
