If you ever want to do a quick color change like that in PS, just go to Image > Adjustments > Replace color. Sample the color from the image, up the fuzziness (but not too much) and then play with the hue/saturation sliders <3

paint.net is what I use, not as good as a true PS but it's free and does what I need it to

Not sure if you mean me or Lavatea? If me, it's a 3.33ct Cuprian Tourmaline copper bearing - some would consider it to be a Paraiba Tourmaline, other's wouldn't!!! If you mean the lovely ring in Lavatea's avatar then I'm pretty sure that's a pear shaped diamond.

Thanks Lavatea. I've downloaded it but now can't use the thing! It's very similar to Paint that I use but I've got no idea how people manage to change the colour of stones (like in this thread - from pink to orange). Just had a go and I ended up with something that looked like it had been hit by a passing paintball!

What a great idea.

Please excuse me Sparkley but I completely forgot to say that I too like the ring with orange stones. Do you have matching ones already? The reason I ask is that I wonder how easy/hard it'll be to find ones that match. I would assume it won't be easy but perhaps you already have them.
