Hi there,
Took a few different pics of the ring I am probably sending back, any last thoughts before it hits the mail??

It looks pretty. Why are you sending it back?

its dead looking--sorry

Dead looking? Is it clean? Have you seen it under different lighting? Home/office fluorescent lighting is terrible on all diamonds.

I love the delicate setting.

I too saw the pictures from the other day, but the diamond doesn''t seem so "dead" in these photos...INTERESTING...I am wondering if the camera is just not capturing the beauty of the diamond (it can be difficult). However, I think you stated that even in person the diamond had a cloudy (grayish) tint to it...and since you are the only person here who has seen it with your own eyes--only you can know if it is the camera, lighting, diamond, etc. You seem pretty set on sending it back, so whatever you choose to do--GOOD LUCK!

Yeah, the ring is grayish looking in certain light situations- like at the store where I campared it with a Leo diamond. But I took it to work with me today, I work in an operating room where there is an abundance of flourescent lighting... and it really came to life & looked awesome. Now I am having second thoughts. I''m still thinking about upgrading to a better cut and color.

Just FYI, the lights in jewelry stores often aren''t the best for viewing stones because they minimize the difference between colors and cut...

FWIW, this looks like a great stone. I don''t think it''s the stone.

I think the ring is gorgeous and the diamond is beautiful, I am by no means an expert though. What are the specs on the diamond?
