Any thoughts on this princess?

Yes, the negative is that the cut is only good. I would want much better than that. Cut is the most important thing to consider. Also, this diamond is not square. Does this bother you ? Check out WF's AGS 000s for the cream of the crop in terms of princessess.

You would also want to ask about what affects the flouro has on the diamond, if you still want to consider it.

I am not sure if there is anything that I am missing on this stone that stands out as a negative.

hello! are you looking for a square princess? cuz this one is most definately not...

Hi Ski,

This chart might be of help.

I agree, I'd want a smaller, better cut stone. CUT is what makes a diamond sparkle!

Not sure what your budget is, but I found this one. You don't have to, but if you stick with an AGS0 Princess, it will ensure you get a pretty stone.

Yes I would want the diamond to be square. I am really having a hard time getting what all to look for in the cut. My budget is that I am trying to stay around 3000-3500 and was trying to get something around 1 ct if at all possible.

Ellen,

That link did not take me to a diamond. I really appreciate any stone that someone shows me that may be a good choice. Thanks for the help.

Sorry about that!

It''s going to be tough to get a 1 ct. in a great cut, with good color and clarity. Again, I''d go smaller if need be, and then upgrade later.

This co. has a very good upgrade policy. This is at your budget.

This one is a ct., and at the lowest I would personally go in color with a Princess, and almost as low as you can safely go in clarity, and you can see the price difference.

Keep in mind, for most of the stones, you can ask Angara for a video of the diamond so that you can see for yourself how it looks...but I agree with the rest in that the cut is what gives the stone life...and of course, the more square the more favorable for shapes like the princess...

yup, i got my stone prior to discovering PS so i haven''t studied the numbers/tutorials, however i wouldn''t consider this stone because of only ''good'' cut. i have a princess, and i would go smaller to get a better cut without sacrificing too much on color. post-PS i would most likely be shopping whiteflash or GOG (to start anyway) and if 1ct were important but not feasible without sacrificing cut and color, i would be looking toward their upgrade policy so that as the future permits i could make it to the 1ct mark.
