Any thoughts on this being a diamond or not?

I got this pendant out of a junk box where i also found a really cool looking pendant that I also asked about on here and got some helpful feedback on. I took some pictures and i have seen you guys had photos of inclusions taken with a microscope. I was wondering if these inclusions are diagostic of it being real or synthetic stones have it too? I can't read the hallmark, i was assuming it said 925 but the more i look at it the more i realize that even under power i can't read it with any certainty. Also the maker's mark is a heart with i think initials in it but again it's so hard to see. I think it lived a pretty hard life before i found it. Thanks in advance! If this is a dumb question i'm sorry

First, I want to say your photos are awesome.

Second, it's hard for anyone to tell from photos whether or not a diamond is real. The best thing to do is take it to a jeweler. They have tools to perform very simple tests.

I figured maybe it's hard to tell from a picture and i really doubt it to be real based on the circumstances i found it under (in a box of stuff i got for 10 dollars). Thanks for the input, if it's not real i didn't lose anything . I will take it to a jewelry store eventually and i know they'll be able to tell right away. It is a lot of fun to look at things real close under this usb microscope (it was less than 20 dollars a few years ago at toys r' us). The extreme close-ups are from it set at i think it was 160 or 320 x, i lost the box a long time ago. I'm here to learn new skills and asking questions on how to make these determinations is the only way I will learn. By the way has anyone ever seen that heart mark to at least know who made it?

A basic test is to blow on it. If it takes some time for the vapor to disappear, then it is not a diamond.

925 is sterling silver. It looks pretty. I'd keep it and wear with a silver chain.

Most likely not a diamond (925 is ss, found in junk box, etc). The inclusions look like chip marks not inclusions per se.
Just take it to a department store or jewelry store and have them test it, takes seconds.

Thanks for all the thoughts everybody! Even if it's not real it is a better fake than the 30 or so other pieces of costume jewelry that were in there. My untrained eye could rule those out quick as anything good because of the quality of their construction. I also had the thought why would you put a diamond in sterling silver and not gold or platinum. When I finally get around to taking it to someone i'll let you know what they say.
