any thoughts on fair price for this OEC?

Hi everyone -- I would be really interested in (and very grateful for!) any thoughts on price of this OEC:

just under 3.5 carats
H to I color
SI clarity -- no inclusions visible to the eye
nice sparkle to the ring
in a plain platinum setting
currently being sold off from an estate

Any thoughts?

Haven't a clue...but would love to see a picture! And maybe a good picture would help some of the experts around here to guess at the quality of the stone...

Does the stone have a GIA cert?

What are they asking for it?

no GIA certificate and the only picture available thus far is too blurry to judge anything

Will they let you have it appraised? Or do you at least know someone knowledgeable about diamonds who can look at it.
It may be a great deal. But then again it may not even be a diamond. I doubt that anyone who has not actually seen the stone and knows something about OEC cuts can advise you.
