Any other stringed instrument players?

I’ve seen posts in the past where PSers have mentioned they play a stringer instrument. Who here plays one? I’ve played the viola for almost 30 years now. Before I had my son I played in a community orchestra. Haven’t touched my viola much the past 6 years but hope to get back to it.

I play cello. I'm a rank beginner, so I play it as badly as possible, but I love it and what I lack in skill, I make up for with annoying enthusiasm!

Been playing bass guitar since I was 15, although I took a forced hiatus for 4 months after nearly removing the end of my left index finger...

I play guitar (6 string acoustic) and banjo (scruggs style), to a level I would describe as "campfire hero". My fingernails are always a mess when I'm playing regularly, but it is worth it!

My husband was a semi-serious cellist in his youth and I miss hearing him noodle on the cello, but we got rid of a lot of instruments when we moved to the city and our small apartment a few years back.
