I was looking at this stone and was hoping someone would give me an impression of this stone at goodoldgold.com: http://www.goodoldgold.com/lucere_1_13ct_f_vs2.htm

There just doesn't seem to be that much info on Lucere stones. Plus, I'm not very informed.

Hi Chuckles,

Lucere cuts are one of the many fancy square cuts
in the market. Each fancy cut, really becomes a personal
preference for the consumer, and has its own
unique distinct look.

Hi chuckles,

I should also add that in the square cut
market, the princess cut still seems
to be the most popular. Some cutters are
now cutting princess cuts trimming the extra fat,
resulting in some of the most attractive
looking diamonds. The reason I mention this
is because cutters still can't resist to leave
as much weight as possible on the stone during
the cutting process, which usually leads to a
fancy with an average to less than average light performance.

The square market is still a work in progress
but, we should all be very surprised with whats
to come in the following years, because there are
some cutter "right now" whom are cutting their fancies
for excellent light return.
