Any NY-NJ-CT tri-state fans of Rye Playland Amusement Park?

The amusement park portion of this charming, historic art deco park is in grave danger of being cut in half, which many believe would cause the already-struggling park to lose attendance, revenue and ultimately its viability as an amusement park, leading to closure (and conversion to a passive recreation park). The park is flanked on one side by a beautiful waterfront town park and on the other by a wildlife sanctuary.

Meantime, two experienced amusement park operators have come forward offering to rehabilitate and invest in the 85-year-old park to bring some new life to it and operate it as the amusement park it always has been.

Rye Playland is one of the last historic art-deco style amusement parks in the country.
