anyone else love lucy too? what''s your favorite episode?

DD had a TV in her room when she was little. I know bad Mommy.. Gosh did she love I love Lucy, that's pretty much all she watched, and I saw many with her, as I lay in her bed. We loved the Vegiemite, the Paris Episode where they think it's chic to wear burlap sacks? The one in CA where they are at a restaurant and behave badly irritating a celebrity. Then the candy factory... Oh and when she's preggo, and he sings to her... Someone is having a baby, but he doesn't know it's Lucy!! Loved that!!!

Oh too many to mention. DD is 21 now and has them all on DvD's... She's a true blue fan... Funny cause she was 3 or maybe 4 at the time... I guess she got that humor early...

I've seen (and own!) all episodes, the books on them, and have watched all biographies! I am such a huge fan of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz as well as their show. I remember doing my 4th grade report on Lucille Ball! Now, my favorite episodes are the Pioneer Women, the Job Switchng (aka Candy), the Little Taste of Cuba (the one where they co-own a diner with the Mertzes), and the final one, where they're in the house in Connecticut and their friend Edie Adams singing "That's All". That one is quite heartbreaking because Lucy and Desi had their troubles in real life, and filed for divorce after filming that final episode. The song is so sad, "I can only give you love that lasts forever..." because despite their love for each other, their marriage just couldn't survive. So sad!

Hands down, favorite show EVER. I have every episode of I Love Lucy and the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, seen the episodes multiple times, and dominated in the I Love Lucy Jeopardy category against BF

I remember reading on Wikipedia that there were moments were Lucille Ball had been crying prior to filming scenes in the episode where they go to Japan...and it always makes me sad watching that episode.

I love the one where they get the racehorse...and oh let''s see...the candy factory is a classic, I love almost all the ones where they''re traveling in the later seasons, and the one where Lucy thinks Ricky''s trying to kill her...I think I need to break out the DVDs again

I love Lucy! I think my favorite episode is when she''s making vino and gets in a fight with that Italian woman. What a riot that show was. It''s amazing how the media has run out of good clean humor, which is something you only realize when you think back to those kinda shows.

favorite lucy episodes...the one where she wants a designer dress and pretends to starve herself and Ricky tricks her into wearing one made of a horses feed bag and burlap.
The other one is when she gets Liz Taylors 69 carat diamond ring stuck on her hand.

I LOVE Lucy, too. I have so many favorites.
Of course, the standards; candy making, grape stomping.
The one where Lucy gets really sunburned preparing for a fashion show (and ends up wearing a burlap suit).
The one where she thinks Ricky is trying to kill her.
The one where she and Ethel are in a show and have the same dress and rip it off of each other.
The one where Lucy won''t take off the mink coat that doesn''t really belong to her.

I think the first season was the funniest. I didn''t love many of the Hollywood episodes. I am so fascinated by Lucy IRL. I''ve read everything I can find on her and she was just a phenomenal woman who was really ahead of her time.

hello fellow ''i love lucy'' fans!

i''ve been hooked on the episode where lucy is trying to lose weight to fit into a size 12 dress, so she can dance in ricky''s show, i think it''s called ''the diet''

''on behalf of our tubby trio, i welcome you to our flabby foursome'' too funny!

OH I loved that show dearly as a young''in... Nick at Nite was all I watched for years and years. I Love Lucy, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie... those were my favorites. I loved those comedic leading ladies.

Love that show! I really like the one where she did a commercial for vitamin alixor or something like that and got drunk off it.

Grew up watching it and still love it!
