This is just one man's opinion, but I'm liking the G (unless you have a preference for the "8 mains" style of the first diamond). To my (relatively unexperienced) eyes, there is less mush under the table, and there is more uniformity in the facet sizes when comparing virtual facets under the table and under the crown. Also, the ASET suggests to me less leakage, good brightness, and good balance of red/green/blue. Good luck!

I like the G best It's gorgeous. And big. And the best ASET. Home run!

Where is the first one from and can you of link me to it?

Thanks for the input guys!!!!

Ahhh I goofed the G contains strong fluorescence, think it may be a passer...

Number 1 is from excel an Barry said it's a stunner, he just got a video over I me and I have to agree it does pop!

Strong fluorescence isn't bad. At all. It's cool actually. Just ask B2C if it's over blue. If it is not, then you are fine.

In order of preference. FOR PERFORMANCE: A, C, B.

A is by far my favorite for performance plus spread. B is a great stone. You can ask for a video of it too. B is definitely above average, but the other two will likely outperform it given the ASETs.

Gypsy thank you for you insight, I agree I really think the cut of A is excellent, I like the partial "arrows"...but will def look into Bs fluorescence...but A might take the cake

PS I am an idiot and posted the thread ABC but numbered the stones in order 123...lol, diamond fatigue I suppose

There is no bad choice. You get a lovely stone either way!

Gypsy, first you called B (the G stone) a "home run", and now it's last on your list???

Would you help me understand the reasoning behind your choices, so I can get better at picking out the good ones? =)

The second stone (the G) did have the least amount of "mush", right? But on the other hand, it doesn't have any pronounced "arrows", so I'm guessing this is a desired feature in the cushion cut? And is an 8-mains cushion more desireable than a 4-main?

There is a very easy explanation. I mixed them up.

The second one is my first choice. The third one is my second choice. The first one is my last choice.

So I should have said B, C, A.

Whoops. Thanks for catching that!

Or to quote Abbott & Costello: "Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know is on third."

OK, it makes much more sense now!

That is exactly what I felt like typing it. I had read and re-read it several times.
