Any experience with ID Jewelry for purchasing a diamond without visiting?

I am trying to find a particular diamond and spoke with Yekutiel. He thinks he may have one soon that would be suitable. If all the numbers and images check out, would you trust his opinion/description of the inclusions and cut quality? I was thinking about getting a Brian Gavin Signature H and A, but they may not be able to locate what I want soon. Is it possible to get H and A quality (along with GIA ex/ex/ excellent cut) without paying for the title?

I haven''t had experience buying a loose diamond from Yekutiel at ID Jewelry, but I ordered an eternity band from them a couple weeks ago and received it last week. I think he is very honest about what he sells. He will tell you if he doesn''t think it is a good product instead of just trying to sell you anything. He definitely wants to make his customers happy so I would be comfortable buying a larger item from him such as a diamond. He is very busy with customers in the shop in NYC, but he ALWAYS returns calls and ALWAYS returns emails, if just to say that he will look into the matter when he gets back to the store, which is always appreciated.

I just this week purchased and received a diamond from ID Jewlery, remotely via Web/email. Yekutiel was VERY responsive and helpful, and offered good advice. Without a doubt I would say you can trust his opinion and descriptions. I would echo the first reply and say they certainly want to keep their customers happy -- Yekutiel literally wants you to "bother" him with questions. I would happily do business with them again. I can''t speak to your H&A question, but will definitely vouch for ID Jewelry.
