I'm assuming the first stone is from Blue Nile because of the "Signature Ideal" label. Can you get the crown/pavilion angles for it, or at least some kind of guarantee that stone #1 performs well?

Stone #2 gets a "2" on the HCA, a very good score, but not an excellent score. However, it might be better to know you're getting "very good" than risk getting "mediocre."

The tie breaker might be that stone #2 is only $10,237 with White Flash's Price Scope discount.

OK, I found stone #1 and its angles from Dirt Cheap (sorry to spill the beans on where you found them, but it helps me make an informed recommendation). It gets a 1.4 on the HCA -- ex, ex, ex, vg.

It looks like stone #1 is an SI1 due to a crystal or two under the table. I'd want to know that the stone is eye-clean. Stone #2 has some feathers near the edge -- I'd want to make sure they aren't making the stone's edge vulnerable. Ask the sellers about them.
