Hey Folks,

Been lurking for awhile trying to get as much info as I can. I'm trying to create a Tiffany Novo-like ring and was shown the following diamond today which looked quite great. But I wanted to get your thoughts to see if there were any concerns from a spec standpoint.

http://www.gia.edu/cs/Satellite?reportno=2166946544&childpagename=GIA%2FPage%2FReportCheck&pagename=GIA%2FDispatcher&c=Page&cid=1355954554547

Any input would be great!

Thanks

Welcome to PS monkified,

We are unable to tell anything about fancy cut stones from their papers. We need up close pictures, aset images and
up close videos if possible. If you can provide any of those, please post and we'll have a look.

The facet arrangement + cushion type of this diamond does not match the Tiffany Novo. Tiffany uses an 8 thin main Cushion Brilliant with a square ratio.

The diamond you posted is a cushion modified brilliant aka "crushed ice" cushion.

In any event, I'd be wary of a thick to very thick girdle because that means weight is hiding there and may mean the diameter is smaller than it otherwise might be. We do have to have photos of cushions to be able to advise you.
