I think I've found "the one". Does anyone have any concerns with this choice?

2.51 ct G SI-1 GIA ExExEx

34.5 CR
40.8 PA
56 table
61.9 depth

GIA cert is attached

I think I prefer a larger table, 58 or 59 for the better spread, but other than that this seems to have everything I'm looking for.

Thanks to all who take time to reply. I appreciate any feedback.

Well, I searched for your diamond and found it at 3 different online retailers. However, none of the 3 retailers had the loop photo like you had posted?

That Idealscope looks very good to me, but I am no where near an expert at reading them. My only concern with this stone would be the eye-cleanliness of it. Looking at the GIA report, it shows some inclusions right under the table. Without looking at the actual stone though, it would be tough to say one way or the other. You can see a slight hint of them in the Idealscope though.

Best of luck in your search!

a larger table "does not" give you a larger spread.

I am curious which sites you found it at?

In no particular order....Solomon Brothers, Eternity Diamonds, and Abazias...

I'm curious as to which site gave you the magnified loop ability?

Best of luck to you!

James Allen.

They are my favorite by far. 60 day returns, 2 year 70% buy back, best inventory I've found in the 2ct+ range. And there's a Pricescope discount to boot. They may not the rock bottom cheapest but I think their policies make up for that.

Interesting. I thought that is where you had found it, but I have searched for it there 2 times now and can't find it. I'm glad you did though! For your sake, I hope the inclusion I spoke of earlier isn't an issue and this one works out for you.

One final thought, you had mentioned that one of the determining factors was sales policies of the vendor. Here's an idea you may not have thought of. Since that is a virtual diamond that many vendors have access to, it may be possible to get whatever vendor you choose to match the lowest price quote from the other vendors. That way, you get the best price and the best policies of whatever vendor you go with. I believe you have the leverage here because all vendors involved would be quoting on the exact same diamond. It's worth a shot I believe.

Best of luck to you!

I don't see any issues. Just ask JA if its eye -clean to your standards. Numbers, image and aset all look good!
