My fiancee and I are looking to make a purchase today and we would appreciate it so much if you could tell us what you think of these three stones? What would be a good price? If we negotiate well, how low should we be able to go on these stones? Amy negotiataion advice?

Once again, thank you so much for your help. Pricescope has made us feel so much more confident in this process.

cblakesj,

I''d choose #3, and you like it.

Comparables here put it around $12,8 give or take $2500. It''s a BIC, and scores well on the HCA

#1 is probably OK, and may be had for more of a bargain, around $10K...maybe a bit less with consideration of the flor.

#2, though you''re missing table info, nothing will save it...drop out of running.

These numbers are a) based on internet pricing, which means you may see a premium to this...but I''ve seen B&Ms with EGL''s come in comparably. Relatedly...find these competitors, which allowed me some perspective on pricing, here...and this will also help you to negotiate.

Regards,

Ira, thank you very much for your insight. What makes #2 lose no matter what? The pricing comparison database looks like a great resource that I want to dive into before making our purchase tonight.

#3 for me as well.

Def # 3. # 2 is reaaallly deep, you lose a lot of diameter, and there are other light issues with a deep stone.

a

what would one consider to be a *great* deal on stone 3?
