My husband and I are ready for a ring upgrade, and being a bargain hunter I''ve been searching on ebay for both diamonds and settings. But, now that I''ve discovered this awesome site, I''m not sure I want to risk a solitaire from ebay. At the same time though, I found an Antique-Style setting on ebay that I really love, but it''s being sold with the center stone, which I don''t want. I''m sure it is being currently manufactured, but I have no idea how to find it!

I''ve attempted to attach a pic of it....maybe someone will recognize it? I''d so appreciate any suggestions of where to search.

Thanks, Melissa

I have seen that ring before on a website that deals in antique ring settings. However, I cannot remember the name of it. I will see what I can do to find it and let you know.

Nice design. Please let us know when you fine it! I checked the semi-mounts at http://antiqueengagementrings.com/, Fay Cullen, www.wannabuyawatch, and www.circa1930. Sorry, didn't find it.

I think I found your ring or something very similar to it. Here is the link: http://www.foreverjewelers.com/store/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=UADR4424

I hope this helps.

Thank you so much, Meow! How did you find it? I started browsing that site after following your link and couldn't find it through their links.

Now I have to finish making a decision about whether this is what I want!

I am such a bad decision-maker!

The first time I went through that site, I couldn't find it either. I think if you click on http://www.foreverjewelers.com and then click on "rings" and then click on "engagement-wedding sets" on the left hand column, it is on the second page on the next to last row. They have some really beautiful rings and some good prices.

I am also looking for an antique setting... do you know of any other websites? I asked Forever Jewelers about a couple of settings and they were fantastic and emailed me lots of additional photos. That could really help your decision.
