Thank you all for then nice compliments- it is a lovely piece! I didn't expert the stones to be so white or so lively either. Alex should buy and sell antique stuff more often if he finds things like this!
@Romy - thanks! I can be fickle, but I think this is one I will hold on to- for at least a bit, but will post in pre-loved if I decide to sell it before I list it officially.
@tyty333 I know- I am a bit surprised nobody took it apart over the years too for the stones to re-purpose. But I'm very glad they did not!
