Antique & Cushion Cut Lovers, Take 2 - Smaller Pics

After months of not getting my previous new stone set, I decided to search out a cushion cut stone I would love. This is the stone I found to replace it....

It''s an Antique Cushion Cut, 1.33c, H SI1. Definitely doesn''t have the light return of the ACA I returned, but has excellent light return for an antique cut, and I just love the shape.

I went a little camera/loupe crazy, so I hope you enjoy photos as much as I do!

Pic #3......I love how this picture shows the cushiony shape of the diamond.

And finally, Pic #4...I love the dispersion shown in this photo, although I confess I believe it to be light leakage, as it is behind the stone. Still love the photo though!

I'm quite pleased with my photos, especially considering the minimal effort I put into them. Not about to enter them in the diamond photography competition, mind you.

I will subject you all to a few more photos once I get the stone back, set into a ring!

What a beautiful diamond! I love old cut diamonds. They have such character. Where did you buy the diamond? Did you trade in your modern diamond for it? Wear it in good health!

Lovely cushion! I think cushions are very beautiful--different than RB's..definitely. I also like the Old Mine cuts as well. Congrats...can't wait to see it set!!
