Antique Cartier? HELP with markings

Hi!

I was curious about markings/hallmarks. Does anyone have any vintage Cartier (pre-1950s)? I found an adorable emerald cut eternity ring in a shop, marked very lightly "cartier" but without any of the other standard Cartier markings or hallmarks for platinum.

It is clearly worn down, but I am really seeking any advice, since I know Cartier will not evaluate pieces that you did not purchase there.

I would say it's a ring you were gifted by your grandmother, and for appraisal purposes so you can get it insured you were hoping they might authenticate it for you. You don't have to say where you got it, just that you want it appraised and need the authenticity if it's authentic for that.
