If cats love you, you are a very special human being. (We already knew that.)
Cats loved my late husband, strays would appear from the bushes to wipe his legs.
Evening feed was single file behind the pied piper of felines. He removed their spay sutures without causing pain. It was marvelous.

In my opinion love in some form is universal among animals above the insect order.
