Talking to the gentleman, he says there is a inclusion but it is a white one. I am trying to get more info to see how noticeable it is and/or if it can be covered up by setting. And just curious, what do you all think the going rate would be for this diamond (Purchase price)??

I''m not sure about your budget... however I personally wouldn''t get this stone due to the inclusions plus the fact that it''s graded by EGL which may mean that other aspects of the diamond might not be what they would be if GIA or AGS graded the diamond. If you''re looking for around the .9 in F color.. I would go with something like this.. as long as its eye clean

Thanks for the reply. Right now, that stone ya linked me too is a little too $$ for me. The stone I asked about is from a friend of a friend type deal. The price is over $2k less then the one you just linked me to.

Ahh.. so the low price and high carat size is what''s tempting you then. I guess I would have only two points of advice then.

1. Take a look at the diamond yourself... see if you like it. If you like it and the individual you are buying the ring for will like it then go for it.

2. Step down in carat weight and up in clarity. If you''re not color sensitive then try a G or H.

For roughly 2,000 less at the same size.. you''ll be looking at GIA certified J,I colors SI1 clarities, and a mixture of good to excellent cuts.

Yeah. I''ve been looking at WF stones alot. They would be in the .71-.75 range, ACA stones.

It all depends on if the lady wants a specific size... When I was shopping for the diamond I wanted I sacrificed carat for a higher quality stone and I know that my girlfriend will not be disapointed when she see''s how beautiful the stone is. But her expectations for carat size are smaller then the carat size I went with.

Happy diamond hunting!
