Waking up today to another terrorist attack on the London tube. A very crude IED, a builders bucket and fairy lights which failed to create a major explosion.

People were injured, burns, some trampled in the rush, but no catastrophic injuries reported so far. The bomb squad were called in case there were other bombs left on the train.

This happened in Parsons Green, London where I was born.

Terrible. I saw it this AM on the news. I hope people aren't becoming desensitized to these horrible terrorist attacks. It is becoming so commonplace (or it seems so anyway) that I am concerned people are just going to start accepting it as life as normal. And it is not normal and it should never be accepted as part of everyday risks etc. So upsetting.

Keeping all those affected in my thoughts.

Just saw this!! HORRIBLE!! :angryfire:

Yes, I am scared ...

Oh no!!!! We were supposed to go to London in October for the NFL football game, but I cancelled after the last attack when I found out 90% of police there don't carry guns.

I would still go to London, but I am NOT going and wearing an American NFL jersey and attending a high profile American sport at Wembly arena. Etc.

Prayers for London and it's citizens. You all don't deserve this.

:(2 Thoughts are with the people of London.

My thoughts are with the people of London. So sad

Very sad indeed. I read ISIS took responsibility.

My daughter was there in June when the attack occurred on London Bridge and the nearby market. We thought surely London would be calm for awhile since the Manchester attack had recently happened. So we were not happy when there was an attack while she was there and less than a mile away. I feel terrible for those of you who live there. We have the choice to go elsewhere for trips (and will), but I would imagine it is just horrific to live nearby when these attacks are becoming all too frequent.

I was there in May during the Manchester attack. I'm not going to London area again for a long time. I highly suggest Wales for tourism. Absolutely gorgeous! So sorry London people. No one deserves all this.

Glad to read the device failed to explode properly, otherwise the number of casualties would have been higher.
Also glad to read read they might have caught the person responsible shortly before he was due to leave the country via ferry.
Be vigilant, peeps, wherever you are.

But then you are giving the terrorists the outcome they want!

That said, Wales is much prettier and a lot less stressful than London, so do go there :D lol

Another suspect arrested too. Both 'vulnerable' refugees, one from Iraq and the other from Syria, and people wonder why we want to take back control of our borders :roll
