Another storm for NY area?

They are saying anything from rain to severe heavy snowstorm. Which is it? So hard to plan ahead, and so sick of storms!

Say it ain''t so! I am in NY for work until tomorrow night and am really hoping I don''t get stuck (again). I got stuck up here two weeks ago due to snow at home in ATL and it was not fun trying to get home!

yup, still forecasting heavy snow from late tonight through friday interchanging between snow and rain in the city, but snow in ''burbs. I''d keep an eye on the weather forecast...you may get stuck again!

Oh goodness. At least I don''t have any plans for the next few days. I''m sick of storms though! What happened to normal winters where it would snow an inch or two over the course of a day and not be a big deal?

Our news is saying that the boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens) and Long Island can expect 6" to 12" inches between very late tonight and Friday. Blechhh!

Oh man! Well, I''ve already put a backup plan into place. I''m supposed to fly to DC with DH on Friday for a long weekend. He should have no problem getting there, so if my flight gets cancelled, I''m riding with a co-worker that lives in Philly down there and then I''ll take the train to DC. It means I will have to have DH pack casual clothes for me for the weekend, but if he messes it up, I''ll just go shopping! My Nordstrom card could use a work out!!
