what do you think is a good size for a solitaire pendant? do you think 0.5 or 0.6 caract, round shape would look too small? assume all the other 3 C's are good
I swear pendant size is about cleavage!! lol My daughter is "blessed" and looks great with larger things, while I, ah hem, look better in daintier, smaller things. Diamond solitaires included. That''s ok, because I make up for it in the earlobes. lol lol
I think .5 or .6 is a great size for an everyday solitaire pendant. I would definitely prefer it to be on a shorter chain, though-16-18" would be my preference.
I just got mine and it is 0.40. I haven''t posted pics yet except the one from WF. I think the size is great, and it fit the budget for now. I wouldn''t mind a bigger one someday, and I might upgrade, but I think this is perfect for now. I get lots of compliments on it. It is martini set on a 17 inch chain. I think the size should be in scale with your other jewelry (bigger than one of your studs if you have them, smaller than your E ring stone), and in scale with your body frame if possible, and also, in keeping with your everyday style. And budget of course
I just got 1+ ctw stud earrings and they are the right size for me for everyday wear. Like JustJulia, what I lack in one area, I make up for in my lobes!
I''m older, taller, and heavy set.
So I think if I went with a .5 carat center stone pendant, I''d get a halo setting or do the tandem for a bigger look.
16" chain is a bit short on me and 18 is a touch too long, so I think I''d go for a 17" to keep it closer to the neck.
You really need to get out and try on different looks to see what you like. What suits your eye, your stature, and your personality.
