I found a diamond semimount setting for 3/4ct round centre stone, but my stone is 1ct. Could the setting fit for my stone?

Probably not, but you're best finding out the exact dimensions of your stone and then the exact dimensions of the stone the semi mount can hold. Diamonds of identical shape and carat weights aren't always exactly the same size.

Thanks elliemay, my diamond is 1ct round, 6.5*6.5mm
the setting is the excatly same as picture I attached below (the cushion frame one, not round), and as its description, it is semimount for 3/4ct. I can't see the setting in person, but can buy it and bring it to a jeweler. Need your thoughts please.

Before buying it, I'd call the seller and ask them if your stone will fit -- much simpler than buying it and having to return it! The good news is that's not an uncommon style of setting, so you'll probably be able to find one that fits your stone if the original one doesn't work out for you.

It would be easier if it were reversed and the setting was for a slightly bigger stone than yours...but it could still work. Your stone might just overlap the halo a bit.

By the way, I LOVE both settings! Can you please post a link where you found them? :naughty:
