I don't know, Kenny. Is our family the only one with gay members in our family tree who have successful, hard-working, intelligent personalities and great jobs. They are funny and a delight to be with and I think they enjoy fitting into society and not being singled out by a "DEI" designation.
It could be the fact that they are much younger than you or me but they're not the latest generation either. I judge people by who they are, not what they are and I think most do the same now. I know there are phobics out there but should we discriminate against gay/transgender people by pointing them out and making them "special"?
I will admit I am totally against transgender males in biological women's sports strictly because of the biological advantage.
Straight white males enjoyed and continue to reap the benefits of centuries of "DEI" on steroids, extreme unearned special privileges over women, minorities and everyone else. So their outcries that DEI isn't fair (because, yanno, they know a rich black lesbian!) are just... no words.
