Goal is round cut 1.25 carats.

Setting will be yellow gold so my thought was to decrease the color to I or maybe J. I'm interested in the interpretation of the color goal

My thoughts
Cut: Ideal
Carat: 1.2-1.35 (max 1.35 due to included head setting)
Color: I preferred or better
Clarity SI1 or better

What I found
GIA certified 1.3 carat, I color I deal cut. VS2 Table 56%, Depth 62.6% Strong blue fluorescence
Price $8500

Versus
GIA Certified 1.32 Carat J color, Ideal cut, VS2, Table 57% Depth 61.5 Med blue fluorescence
Price $8000

Do you have links to the diamonds? If you'd like someone to give you an opinion than we need more information.

I can't find an edite for the first post anymore but here are my two contenders. I had to throw out the old option 2 because I was told it won't fit the setting (had initial thought I would go smaller). Setting is restricted to less than 7mm diameter and dept of less than 62.8% to fit the larger size than I had anticipated due to integrated head.

Option 1
GIA certified 1.3 carat, I color I deal cut. VS2 Table 56%, Depth 62.6% Strong blue fluorescence
Price $8500

Gia certified 1.2 carat J color Ideal cut VS1 Table 58 Depth 60.5 Med blue bluorescence
$7950

Option 3
Gia certified 1.19 carat I color Ideal Cut VS2 Depth 61.6 Table 56 No fluorescence
$8500
