Thank you again for your replies regarding a particular OEC diamond.
I have another question. I am in search of a particular diamond from the 1860''s. Is it possible that this one has been recut. Last night, I did a search on the web and discovered something. The site (link below) says that Henry Morse opened the first diamond factory in 1860 and then later began recutting. Also, as the diamond has two chips, is it possible that it was weakend by being recut.
