All measures are screening tools, regardless of the amount of detail. To know if a particular diamond is high performing, one must measaure the direct results of light behavior, yet there is still no widely accepted standard for this to be done. In the end, one selects the diamond they most like from the stones that meet the screening parameters.
While this method is still subjective, the results are excellent.
