Does anyone know if the HOF cut is more similar to the ACA New Line or Classic Line? I ask this because HOF''s website touts "edge-to-edge" sharpness that sounds very much like ACA New Line. Your thoughts?

PS I initially posted this on SMTR. Sorry for the duplicate...

Personally, I think once you are getting into the minutia of ideally cut stones you are splitting hairs. But that''s just me.

Having owned both HOF and ACA Classic Line, the HOF, when viewed through the Idealscope, most resembles the Classic Line. Both offer "edge-to-edge" performance. The New Line has painting at the girdle, as does the 8*, which gives them the solid red appearance around the girdle under the IS. One is not a better performer than the other--just a different flavor of a top performing diamond.

Marian, I love your HOF. Thanks for clarifying this for me. I noticed your ring in the picture gallery but have forgotten the specs on it. Would you mind sharing this again?

Thanks,

Tunis

I agree with NF on this one, there isn''t much of an actual visible difference either way.

agreed, just there is a price difference and HOF usually costs more. I would go for an ACA.

Thanks! It is a 1.624 ct G SI1. Let me know if you want any other stats and I''ll be happy to post them for you.

If it''s not too much of a bother I''d love the full run down of stats...
