Hello all.....do all of you think this is going to be a good stone? Scored a 1.5 (ex, ex, vg, vg) on the HCA. Below are the specs:

Price: $7,264
Carat weight: 1.17
Cut: Ideal
Color: G
Clarity: VS2
Depth %: 61.9%
Table %: 55%
CA: 34.4
PA: 40.9
Symmetry: Ideal
Polish: Ideal
Girdle: Thin to medium, faceted
Culet: Pointed
Fluorescence: Negligible
Measurements: 6.77 x 6.78 x 4.19 mm

Diamond is rated by AGS and it got a rating of ASG0 (as in triple 0's). Please comment. Also, the fluorescence being negligible, is this something i should be concerned with? It appears that negligible, is the best rating that AGS gives for fluourescence.

Thanks.

Looks like you''ve got a winner on your hands. I don''t suppose you have any Idealscope pictures to back it up? If not, the AGS0 rating is safe enough for me.

Again, no IS images to back it up but i made sure it was a AGS0 when i was looking this time around. But i want to confirm, fluorescence being negligible is nothing to be worried about right? It is the best rating that AGS gives.....right?

No fluorescence is pretty much the same as negligible. Do note that many Pricescopers love fluorescence - it gives the stone a lavender tint when viewed under strong direct sunlight. However, I do understand that not everyone likes this bonus feature. In the past, many stones with fluorescence were sold as "blue white" diamonds because the blue fluoro actually made the stones look whiter, faceup.

Looks like a great stone!!

Looks like a real winner! Negligible fluorescence is a non issue and you won''t notice any effects from it.

Ditto!

The stone specs look lovely, should be a very nice stone. I wouldn''t be concerned about the flour at all, negligible basically means none or close to none. Some like myself, however, actually like the effects of flour.

Thanks for everyone''s input on this. I will order it tomorrow.
