Anniversary necklace

My husband gave me a custom black opal, paraiba and diamond necklace set in 18 kt yg necklace for our 18th anniversary (a few days early). The paraiba is actually set in platinum. Opal and tourmaline are our son’s birthstones.

Thank you all so much! I am very happy with the final product! The top portion of the pendant with the diamond was actually the idea we got from the vendor who sold my husband the Paraiba. My husband did take the two gems to a local jeweler I chose who specializes in opals, and also sets all kinds of gems, including sphene.

It was very sweet of my husband. My son went with him to pick it up from the jeweler. He could not contain his excitement, so he convinced my husband to give it to me a little early.

Thank you!! I’m also glad they look good together. Our son is lucky to be born in October so he has two birthstones. I only have one birthstone (emerald), so I decided to borrow his.
