I *think* they should be able to size it no problem. As for putting 14K with Platinum - it would drive me crazy, but I''m a spaz, LOL. Do you have any WG jewelry you can try on next to your platinum to see how it looks to you?

Unfortunately no. I don''t have any white gold rings. Why would it bother you? Are they colored very differently?

Can this be sized to a 5.5?
Is it that as long as the stones don''t go all around the band, it can be sized?

Also, will these being 14k white gold be odd looking against my platinum ring?

I wouldnt do it. It says they are sizes 8 and 9... that is a big difference and might disturb the channel setting. I bought a ring in a size 4.5 (not a diamond band, but a halo type setting) and I had to have it re-shanked in order to size it to a 7.
I would ask a jewelers opinion for sure before buying them.

As for the gold and platinum mix, it wouldnt bother me, but the two metals wear very differently... they might look the same new but will look different as they wear.

As the owner of a platinum e-ring, I''ve been told to stay away from white gold wedding bands because the platinum will scratch the gold. I''ve been told palladium is OK, just in case you also happen to find one you like in palladium.
