I just bought a memoire anniversary band and I am worried I got ripped off. I bought it at bailey banks and Biddle. It is a purity band, 1.0 TCW, G, SI and I paid $2k. It was listed as $3,600 but our local BBB is going out of business so everything in store was marked 40-60% off.
It is very pretty and it goes well with my ring, but I keep reading about people buying much larger TCW at a lower price. I almost bought a 2 ct TW band for 3K and now I wonder if that would have been a better choice.

I think you did very well, ones i''ve looked at was over 2k, and those that are buying larger tcw may not be the best diamonds in those band, if you research memoire on ps, you will see they are very well respected and great craftmanship. So don''t worry. The price you paid is a very good price imo.

We got my scott kay platinum setting there and it was marked down to 50% off. The matching eternity band is also at 50 % off as well. Ritani is about 30-40% off some pieces and tacori is 30% on some as well. Well worth checking out if there is one around you that''s still open.

In most instances, a brick and mortar mark-down of 40-60% puts their sale prices right in line with the everyday price of most internet vendors for non-branded merchandise... When you can get 40 - 60% off of brand name goods anywhere, you''re doing great!

Well it depends on your definition of "ripped off". Memoire makes beautiful products and your price was fair for the piece you got (it sounds like). It wasn't the deal of the century-but the price was fair and pretty good probably!

That being said you could certainly get a beautiful eternity ring with stones just as nice for less money without the name.

So if you were specifically looking for Memoire-no you didn't get ripped off. If you weren't-well then you might have overpaid for the name.

you did great to get a discount on a memoire. I wish there was a BB&B going out of business near me so I could go buy one. I adore their quality and workmanship and they have a wonderful upgrade policy as well.
