Hey guys-

I need your help on deciding which ring setting to choose...

The diamond is going to be a princess cut but I want to pick the ring that will allow the diamond to shine the brightest. Which head will give off the best bling...

Here are the contestants...

#1

#2

I like them both.....decisions decisions.

#1 is only for rounds, and IMO it's for good reason- the donut that sits on the pavilion would look strange as a square.

Well they would custom it to fit a princess diamond. So that wouldn't be a problem. Would you still pick #2?

My preference is for #2 for a princess cut; it needs a little something subtle like the V shape. I think the elegance of #1 would just turn to boring with a square stone. That's just my opinion though.

#2 but ensure that the corners are protected .

Thanks for all your feedback! It looks like #2 wins!

I will also make sure that the corners are protected before I make the jump to purchase it.
