.. and now it''s too late

Whilst browsing an antique shop, I came across a stunning ruby ring set with the most beautiful halo I have ever seen. The ruby was nothing special, but I couldn''t help but think that my diamond ( the one that has taken 9 weeks, 5 days and counting to get re-set) would look so pretty in there. The setting is almost perfect - it looked wrong for the ruby... but oh my. so detailed. Three sided pave (which I''m not getting due to $$$) larger surprise diamonds under the halo... and it cost less then what I am paying.

I''m kicking myself. I want that ring. If only to have my stone put in it.

It''s such a pointless post, but I have troubled DH with all my worries so I cant tell him how much I want it, but it makes me so annoyed. If my ring were here, I''d probably be happy. I just hope it''s better than I expected.

I can dream, cant I? Hmm, I think if my ring isn''t perfect, this will definitely be my back up.

So, can you maybe get the ruby ring, set your diamond in there and get another stone to put in the setting you are putting your diamond in?
