Ya know what's cool?

Look at the colored objects I used.
Green, Blue, Red, Pink and Yellow.

If you look at the asscher, Solasfera and ACA pics you will see MORE than those colors.
The diamonds are still breaking up light.

Note, I also used a LED headlamp for specular highlights to give the pics some snap.
Just move it around DURING the long exposure.

Use a small aperture if you can, like f16 or f22 for more depth of focus.

Here's the ACA without the colored objects, just a white board with a small hole in it.
The LED thingie is on.

Actually the lighting is kind of weird.
Lighting is such a powerful tool in photography.

Notice the colored flashes are in the "contrast leakage" locations.
I guess that makes sense since the LED was held above and not in front of the diamond since there was no room between the diamond and the cardboard.

Maybe the shiny side of aluminum foil, glued to the cardboard near the hole, would have reflected the LED pointed lights into the front of the diamond. Hmmmm.
Photography is so much fun.

The main light was directly behind the diamond this time.
Of course the stone is illuminated by that light after it strikes the white cardboard in front of the stone.
This lighting technique really makes the arrows and the watermelon seeds stand out in rounds.

Great photo Kenny! It''s beautiful!

Very nice! I''m not sure I''m ever in love with "platinum patina" myself personally so I think I like this setting even more than the other.
