Please I hope someone here is watching. I am really enjoying, BUT, I don't understand the judging. I am rewatching last night and the girl in the group Four non blondes and that guy, the girl that got let go. What is with that? They keep people who forget the words, don't sing into the mic, but let go of really good people? Also, all four girls who sang with Steven sitting in the chair - IMO, they were all good. This first girl tonight was not as good.

What is up with the judging?! Ugh!

But, on the very positive note, WOW to many of these people. Such incredible, amazing talent.

I'm watching too, merrijoy, and I'm confused too. Several people who forgot the words made it through...I don't think it's fair. How about the girl who kept breaking down during her song? I like her, and she seems like a nice person, but seriously? She's been a wreck throughout the entire show! If I was a contestant who remembered all the words and gave a decent performance and didn't make it through, I would be so pissed! What happened to Randy's super serious warning not to forget the words? Argh!

I felt so bad for the guy who bent his head down and started crying when he was told he wasn't going through. I don't know, I just really felt for him when I saw his reaction. I wish he had made it, I thought he was good.

I think there are some really talented people this season, though.

 Why, oh why? Let the poor girl go home. She is always having a breakdown.

I know! I was starting to get worried about her...she just can't handle the pressure.

We're watching but I think we're a day behind since we watch it on DVR. I think some of the acts were really talented, and it will be fun seeing who continues on. It's too early for me to have any real favorites yet but it should be a fun season.

At this point, I mostly remember people I dislike. That break-down girl, the two couples (the lovey dovey one, and the exes, but I ESPECIALLY hated the guy in the lovey dovey couple), the hipster guy with the glasses who kicked the adorable young kid out of his group, the punk guy who thinks he's the next Adam Lambert (ENOUGH with the awful falsetto already!).

There are a few people I really like - my favorite is Casey (the guy who played the standing bass for his rendition of Georgia in his solo), and I love little Jacey, and the crazy blonde guy Carson. I like Chris Medina (the one whose fiancee had that terrible accident) but I'm afraid he's going to be the next Danny Gokey due to his story.

You can tell I'm always more biased towards the guys in AI - very rarely is there a girl I really really love and want to have win (terrible grammar, sorry).

I know what you mean, BEG. WHY did they let the girl who almost quit stay? Sure, she'll cause drama and that will be good for ratings, but I thought she did terribly during her solo. She forgot the words, didn't she? Randy even said that was a big no-no.

I know there were a few girls who were really good, but I also remember the guys better so far.

I am so sad. I read a spoiler today that my favorite was already booted. ;(

I saw that too! I really liked *that person* during auditions and the first round of hollywood week, but not so much the second round. I still really like *that person* but the voice IMO was lacking during the second round.

I really can't stand the break-down girl. I know this is really mean, but I really thought there was something wrong with her.(drugs?) Whether she is happy or sad, it is always an extreme. She just acted (and looked) like she was coming off of some sort of drug! Regardless, she is annoying as heck. Her voice is ok, nothing too wonderful. She really, really messed up the last round though, and they still let her through :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease let that spoiler be a mistake. Pretty Please.

I know, I want the spoiler to be wrong too.

Maybe it's just me, but I really think there are some strong singers this year. I'm watching now, and most are sounding pretty darn good. (to my untrained ear, anyway!)

Oh boy, break-down girl is coming up. Hope she can keep it together.

Bump? I am FINALLY caught up!

I am STILL loving Casey. He's without doubt my favorite from the first day.

Also really liking Jacob and Stefano.

The girls are just meh for me. Some are good, none are spectacular for me.

I LOVE Pia and Casey. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being the top two.

I really like those two as well and James, but I am still harboring a resentment that Lauren Turner, Julie Zerillo (sp?), Colton Dixon and Chris Medina and possibly Robbie Rosen (he should have taken the place of Stefano IMO) are not there. I could have done without Haley, Karen and Ashton. I wanted to hear more really strong singers. Google Lauren Turner and Colton Dixon (on Ellen Degeneres he was awesome playing piano) and Lauren had a nice strong voice.

I cannot believe Robbie didn't make the Wild Card pick. His wild card song was SO good. I was pissed. I personally didn't really like Ashton - I never thought her voice was good enough to sing the diva songs she picked. If only Robbie had made it in instead!

Stefano was actually pretty good last night. I am still in lurve with Pia. Seriously in love. Gorgeous and a great singer. Lauren was also very good (very much like Kelly Clarkson style wise, personality like Kelly Pickler). I wish James and Cassie were better. Scotty is always good, but very standard country - I want him to break out. Jacob was good, although that is one of my most favorite songs (Alone by Heart) and I loved when Carrie sang it in her season. It just does not fit the male voice IMO as well.

Pleeeeeeease Haley go home. Thia can do better. Karen has a thread of hope this week. And Naima eh.
Poor Paul, I hope he get's better and comes out stronger.

This season is overall so meh. One of the worst if not the worst IMO. There was a season where most contestants plaid instruments (Piano, fiddles, harmonicas, etc) - makes it so much more enjoyable. This is one of the only shows I watch and I love to listen to good music, so I am very disappointed. :(

I did not like Ashton either. I just don't like when people admit to being divas.
How the heck did the judges pick the wild cards when the complimented Lauren and I believe Robbie so highly and then did not pick them? WTH? I admittedly get too invested in this show. LOL.

I think its one of the best seasons TALENT-wise. C'mon, David Cook? Puleeze. Zzzzzzzz. Stefano was good last night. I've been calling him "Menudo" because, in another era, he'd have been front & center up in that beatch. Casey Abrams makes me laugh so hard everytime I see him. I think he's a real character + gutsy + good (anyone else follow Reggie Watts? Like that.) Lauren Alaina has been my fave because she is SO Kelly Clarkson 2.0. But I can see her getting more annoying over time. Maybe she peaked early? I'd love her to really get it together & compete with Pia for the Ladies Crown. Speaking of Pia, whoever picked out that shiny white pillowcase jumpsuit of dumpiness should be sent back to Wardrobe Kollege. The former Miss. South American Country of Your Choosing looked about 30 lbs heavier and 5x lumpier than she did just last week. James, eh, he has a great radio voice though. And a real way of charming people & saying the right things at the right time. Jacob ...HUGE voice, mind melting combo of glittery lip gloss & CHURCH sanging. Not sure how America is gonna reconcile that but I'm happy to see him shake it loud & proud. AND I completely and totally forget about any of the rest of them. Buh bye.

ETA: Speaking of Robbie ... the second I saw/heard him I said to my DH "He's gonna show up on Glee. He BELONGS on Glee." We'll see ....
