American Idol Season 9 - any fans?

I haven''t seen the Atlanta auditions yet, but I just finished watching the Boston one...

omg, that Justin guy (who had cancer when he was 20) is freakin'' YUMMY! (anyone agree?)
I think he stands a good chance to make it to the top 10.

anyone see someone else they think could be a possible finalist?
the 16-yr old with the alzheimer grandma sang beautifully, but I don''t know what else she can do.
also the religious girl at the end was a pretty singer, but man does she need to get her teeth and tongue cleaned. I had to close my eyes not to ruin the experience.

gonna watch the Atlanta auditions tomorrow. would love to hear the thoughts of anyone else watching.

I just watched the season premiere - I haven''t paid attention since season 6. I didn''t know Paula Abdul had left! And Victoria Beckham makes sense as a judge, but now I read she''s just subbing in ''til Ellen Degeneres gets there - why her? I didn''t know she had a music background... Simon''s leaving next season?

OMG - my daughters (high school and middle school) said that kids were singing that at school the next day! My kids made me promise to not erase that episode from the DVR - just hilarious!

Yes, I thought so too. I also thought he was a pretty good singer.

My fave has been Jermaine from Joliet, IL. I think he might win the whole thing (top 5 for sure).

those 2 best friends are freaky. can anyone say TOO MUCH MAKE UP?
the brunette reminded me of the website where you create a photo of your future-child by uploading a photo of yourself and your husband. gotta go tell smurfy that.

I watched the Chicago and Orlando auditions.

I really like the big guy who has an autistic son. he is very real and has a lovely voice, and I love that he says his family comes first place, even before singing. he''s got a cute face, so I think if he lost some weight he could look like an idol, too.

I think the guy they had to escort out with security was totally set up.

but if anyone is reading, did you hear about one of the guys who made it to the Hollywood semi-finals, but was then asked to leave the competition because his father leaked it out to the press and broke the confidentiality agreement? feel bad for him.
